Submission Terms
Last updated: July 2026
These terms apply to any account you submit to the archive — through the form on this site, by email, or through any other channel. They are written to be read, not to trick you. In short: the story stays yours; you give the archive permission to publish it.
1. Your story remains yours
You keep full ownership of your account. By submitting, you grant Deni Holloway a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use it as described below. Non-exclusive means you remain free to share, post, or publish your story anywhere else, at any time.
2. What the license covers
The license allows your account, in edited form, to be published and adapted in any format and language: ebook, print, and audio — including audiobook editions produced with synthetic or AI-generated narration — and in excerpts used to present the books (for example on this site, in the newsletter, or in promotional material).
3. Editing and anonymization
Accounts may be edited for clarity, length, structure, and consistency with the archive's voice. Names, locations, and other identifying details may be changed or removed — to protect you, and to protect the people in your story. If you request anonymity in the form, it will be honored.
4. What you confirm
By submitting, you confirm that: the account describes your own experience as you remember it; you are 18 or older; and the account does not accuse identifiable private individuals of wrongdoing.
5. No obligation, no deadline, no fee
Submission does not guarantee publication, and there is no deadline by which a submitted account must be used. No compensation is owed for a submission unless separately agreed in writing. To the extent permitted by the law of your country, you consent to the modifications described in section 3.
6. Changing your mind
You may withdraw a submission at any time before it has been published by writing to archive@deniholloway.com. Accounts already included in a published volume remain in that volume, but will not be reused in new works after a withdrawal request.
7. Questions
Anything unclear — ask first, submit after: archive@deniholloway.com.
